SCBU is very close to my heart and one of the main charities I have raised money for in the past. In 2005 we raised £22,000 for the Special Care Baby Unit at Stoke Mandeville hospital in memory of my nephew. So it is really lovely to read that the Milton Keynes Community have come together in another amazing achievement for MK SCBU.
“Thanks to fundraising from the local community, four new incubators costing £80,000 were delivered to the hospital’s neonatal unit in October – and are already being used by babies born too small, too soon or very ill.”
The Charity helps all areas and here is what they are about. If you can help in any way at all I am sure they would love to hear from you!
